SHE.

She works and she writes,
She listens, she hears.
She sings in the shower, she laughs through her fears;
She grafts, she grows,
She sees and she feels -
She strives to be better, authentic and real.
She dreams and she soars -
She plays at this game,
She loves and she loses;
She’s pleasure and pain.
She is kind. She wrestles. She's silent; she fights.
She’s nostalgia, she’s present,
She’s darkness, she's light.
She brews, and she lifts,
She remembers her heart;
She knows all this has made her,
Not torn her apart.
She feels it, she walks,
She learns as she lives;
She's strong and she's soft,
She is sometimes,
